Mani Monday: Lilac Ciaté Shells

Giving the new Ciaté DIY Shell Manicure Kit a whirl this week and love how quickly this polish dries! I’m wearing the Mermaid You Look, which consists of a lilac nail polish with a gray undertone that Ciaté calls Pillow Light and silvery purple crushed shells (which I’m using on my accent nails). Now I know why Ciaté is so popular. It’s Totally foolproof DIY nail art! And this kit is perfect for spring to summer. After all, it is 90 degrees in L.A. this week. Sunny!

Subway Etiquette

It never ceases to amaze me what people think is appropriate behavior in public. Yes New Yorkers, our apartments are ridiculously tiny and it can be tempting to steal bits of the city to expand our real estate (case in point: who hasn’t sunbathed on Central Park’s Great Lawn?). But certain boundaries must be drawn so we can all stay sane and forget that we’re packed on this small island like sardines.
